This is my latest project. Some people asked me about doing CPU tree, cause they liked graphics cards version. Well years passed and still noone did CPU version. So because i'm still unemployed (no IT work found in my area), i said myself lets do it. Anyone can help. This will be bigger project than graphics tree and i will need help for sure. Closer info and discussion can be found on CPU-World forums.

If you feel brave enough for helping, just choose your favourite CPU maker and tell us on CPU-World forum. Sample file for VUE editor can be downloaded in attachments. Will update also big version with all parts connected (you can start also by editing this bigger file) - can be downloaded here. Last updated full file size picture can be seen/downloaded here. If you dont like editing in VUE, you can still send text info about cpu and i will add them. So far these people are working on:

Vlask - everything except stuff that these people did:
achtung049 - Compaq, DEC, HP.
henriok - PPC/POWER.
Tralalák - VIA.

Hi, why is not possible to create an account?

ReCaptcha plugin needs a public key to be set in its parameters. Please contact a site administrator.

There been some compatibility errors between plugins. Its solved - now it should be working, but its still useless for common visitors. You can create account, but logging in gives you nothing since it only enables frontend site editing for admins and have no use for guest users.

Oh, I understand. I really think that should exist a site like "MyFigureCollection", but for graphics cards.

Had to google what you mean by "MyFigureCollection"

Nice idea, but not doable by me. Theres too many variants of cards from different manufacturers and sellers. Its thousands of cards and im alone doing most of this site. Advertisments barely pays hosting and domain fees and only updating and moving all cards to new version of site took me almost a year of work. Its over 800 articles and i got only partial help from Zaatharen.

Only site similar to your idea i seen is oldcomputers - www.old-computers.com/club/collectors/default.asp They have there collectors list, but its only for whole computers, not parts.

With sponsoring from someone like Bill Gates, Nvidia, AMD etc, few good payed programmators and some other people for filling database it would be doable, but i didnt win any lottery lately (actually im unemployed since start of this year) and something you suggested would cost a lot of money and work.

This site is interesting only for few hundreds of geeks, so noone is going to do anything better. You should be at last happy for this one :-* , cause i think is better than anything what can come with CPU collectors, not talking about other hardware (try find something similar about HDD or Soundcards...).

Now i remembered about GPUZoo - guy at that site seems to try made database of all graphics cards by company. Maybe if you ask him, he will add that feature you wanted. His site seems to be custom made. But hes more into modern stuff - so dont expect much stuff older than year 2000. Site adress is www.gpuzoo.com

What about the Texas Instruments TMX 1795: the first, forgotten microprocessor ?

Well, i didnt wanted to do this tree at all. I waited few years and still noone found to do something similar. Im not CPU collector or fan, so i'm sure that i miss many cpu's. Early ones are hard to cover....used mostly wikipedia and cpu-world database - both missing many models.

Thx for link to that article. Looks great and have inside many new chips to me.
